¶ How to Access Plex and Jellyfin
¶ Picking Plex or Jellyfin
| Use this | When |

| Plex | Dont care about other services, just want to watch things |
| Jellyfin | You may want to use other services, request media from in the app, etc. Also this is what I use and maintain more than plex. |
¶ 1) Pick your platform
¶ Plex
- URL: https://plex.nicholstech.org
- Create your own Plex account first.
- Share your Plex username/email to be invited.
¶ Jellyfin

Ask me for an authentik invite link What is Authentik?

Once you make the authentik account from the invite link, navigate to jellyfin on your phone or computer.

Select Sign in with SSO, this may take a minute to load, be patient.

On the tv enter the URL: https://jellyfin.nicholstech.org and select quick connect

in the phone or laptop you signed into jellyfin with, select the person icon in the top right

This is the homepage, there is
- a Calender that shows upcoming shows,
- Favorited items are under favorites
- Bookmarks are under bookmarks
- Requests tab shows requested media and its status, downloaded, pauses etc
